Game Progression

This section will discuss some terminologies, namely the concept of 'session' vs. 'round' vs. 'turn'.

A 'turn' is simply one cycle of a random altered filter being chosen and an answer being given.

A 'round' is the sum of all turns from the moment the round is started and stopped. Starting is accomplished either via the 'start' button or by clicking in game area while 'start' button is showing or by using 'f' key. Stopping is accomplished either via 'stop' button or by using 't' key.

A 'session' is the sum of all rounds played between the moment EQdrill is opened and closed again.

In general, 'turns' and 'rounds' are about playing on a given difficulty and a given heatmap (discussed later in chapter Heatmap). A 'session' can include multiple heatmaps of various difficulties, or a single heatmap might have been played on during multiple 'sessions'.
